Cheryle Chagnon-Greyeyes

Cheryle is a proud member of Muskeg Lake Cree Nation (Treaty 6, Saskatchewan) with a strong background in communications and media. She has worked with organizations such as CBC, the National Film Board of Canada, the National Aboriginal Health Organization, Awo Taan Native Women’s Shelter, and the City of Calgary. She holds a diploma in Advertising and Public Relations from Grant MacEwan College and a BA in Communications and Canadian Studies from the University of Calgary. Since 2005, she has been the Administrative Coordinator at the UCalgary Native Centre.

Reagan Markwell

Reagan Markwell is a citizen of the Métis Nation of Alberta Region III and is Cree Métis from Treaty 1 (Winnipeg, Manitoba). A BSc graduate (2020) and dedicated life long learner, she has supported Indigenous youth and student success through roles such as coordinating the Ótáp ímisskaan Indigenous Youth Leadership Program and the Indigenous Student Access Program at the Writing Symbols Lodge. She has also served as a Leadership Development Specialist with the University of Calgary’s Centre for Career and Personal Development.

Chantal Chagnon is a Cree/Métis multidisciplinary artist, educator, and activist from Muskeg Lake Cree Nation (Treaty 6, Saskatchewan). Her work is rooted in cultural teachings, storytelling, and drumming, which she shares across Canada and beyond. A Two-Spirit mother of four and long-time advocate, she is committed to fostering community, cultural connection, and a more equitable future
